I don't know if you're interested, but I ran across a German outfit who claim they developed anti-surge technology superior to CCC. They sell hardware, software and services. I crossed paths with them while they were installing anti-surge controls on a FCC wet gas compressor.
I have no idea how good they are, or if they are really better or not. I can give you their contact information if you are interested in at least looking at CCC alternatives.
Jim mentioned writing to CCC controls as part of DMC projects. I have done that in the past also. Also, I know Doug has used "distance from surge", an output from the CCC algorithm as CV in a DMC controller. It seemed to work very well for keeping the compressor away from conditions where the spillback would open.
